Conservation Advocacy Campaigns for the Owyhee

Here at Friends of the Owyhee, we are passionate about protecting our public lands so that future generations may enjoy them as we have. That’s why we are using our voices to speak to our representatives like Senator Wyden and Senator Merkley of Oregon about the Owyhee. The two main projects we are currently working on are the Malheur Community Empowerment for the Owyhee (Malheur CEO) Act and the River Democracy Act of 2021. We are also gathering responses to a survey concerning the public opinion of the land management in the Lower Owyhee Canyon.
